When it comes to swim lessons in WNY, there are a lot of great options! Here is a list of local places that offer swim lessons for kids of all ages and abilities.
Swim Lessons in WNY in Alphabetical Order
Goldfish Swim School
Goldfish Swim School is located on Transit Road in Williamsville. They are a franchise with over 100 locations throughout the US. Goldfish offers programming for kids ages 4 months to 12 years with 90 degree pools, flexible class times and free makeup lessons.

JCC
The Jewish Community Center, also known as the JCC, has two locations, one in Getzville and a second in downtown Buffalo. The JCC is fitness facility that has a pool and offers both group and private swim lessons.

Michael Phelps Swimming
Located in Williamsville across from Williamsville North High School, Michael Phelps Swimming has served the WNY community for years. The instructors at Michael Phelps Swimming go through extensive training to provide group semi-private and private lessons to non, new and experienced swimmers as young as 6 months old through adult. They also have a swim team and offer private lessons at your home!

Miss Colleen’s School of Fish
Miss Colleen’s is based out Niagara Falls. They offer swim lessons for newborns through 14 years old. I was not able to find a website for them, but they do have a Facebook page with contact information.

Niagara Aquatics Club
The Niagara Aquatics Club is based out of Lockport. They provide lessons for both new and experienced swimmers of all ages through group and private instruction. Plus, they have non-competitive and competitive swimming clubs.
Lastly, they recently added an adaptive swimming program to help children with special needs learn to swim.

YMCA Buffalo Niagara
The YMCA has locations throughout WNY. Their swimming programs vary by location but in general they provide swim lessons for new and experienced swimmers of all ages and abilities. The only thing to keep in mind with YMCA swim lessons is that you must be an active member of the YMCA in order to take lessons there.

West Seneca Youth & Recreation
The West Seneca Youth & Recreation offers swim lessons for children age 6 and up and their program is limited to RESIDENTS ONLY.
