  1. Margaret Louise Park changed name to Billy Wilson Park in memory of Billy Wilson, a fallen soldier from East Amherst.

  2. Not sure if it’s illegal but people do all the time. Even yesterday evening when I drove by there was a couple people there. That’s where we go to and have never had a problem.

  3. Last I knew, it was illegal to sled at the Lockport Country Club. Has this changed? If not, I’d suggest removing it from this list!

  4. Margaret Louise Park is great if you are around Wililamsville area. We drive from Tonawanda and have a great time there! They also have a playground and the kids like going down the slides into the snow. Good hill for kids small to about age 12.

  5. Thanks so much! Our family just had this discussion over the weekend and didn’t know about many on your list! Great idea!!!

  6. ELMA MEADOWS IS AWESOME!!! It has 3 size (LEVELS) of hills and a nice lodge to warm up in. They separate the hill to 5 and under 8 and under and then there is a large hill for tubes and snowboarding only. They also have a person who watches from the lodge and if kids start doing crazy things they inform them from the lodge over a loud speaker to stop. If they don’t they come out and speak with them. It is very well organized and a wonderful time. My 3 kids 2, 4 & 6 enjoy it greatly.
