Kid-Friendly Things to do around Fort Erie, Ontario
(Facebook fan recommended)
Bird Kingdom: Buy your tickets online to save money!
Crystal Beach/Bay Beach: No rocks, no seaweed. There is a park near by called fireman’s park, where you can see the windmills.
Ft. Erie Race Track: Ft Erie racetrack is beautiful and sometimes they have concerts..and then Happy Jacks for dinner
Old Fort Erie: Old Fort Erie is awesome. If you’ve got bikes (or like walks) the bike trail great too. You could do little pieces different days- it’s fun to go under the Peace Bridge, you could go explore the old dance hall ruins. We haven’t been but there is also a Fort Erie train museum and the historical society. If you like swimming the beach at Crescent is the best and there’s a parking lot with a port-a-potty and great pizza/pasta in walking distance at Rina’s a block away.
Port Dalhousie: Port Dalhousie is about 30 minutes from the peace bridge. I have not been there personally but hear it’s nice. Google it, it’s got a great story.
Safari Niagara: I highly recommend Safari Niagara. We have been season member for three years and my kids still can’t get enough of it. The splash pad is a great break from the animals as well as the rides and rope course.
