Groundhog Day Wellness Walk
Thursday, February 2 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Winter is on its way out, but what does the groundhog say about it? Come enjoy a walk around Tifft, ending with a short presentation about Groundhog Day’s traditions and myths. $3 donation per person suggested. Pre-registration is encouraged. Please call 896-5200, ext. 338.
Frosty Fun Festival
Saturday, February 4 from 10 AM-2 PM
Celebrate winter in western New York and shake off your cabin fever! Drop in and join us for guided snowshoe* hikes, super fun indoor winter crafts, a snow animal sculpture contest (with prizes!), animal tracking and animal adaptations in winter hikes, snowflake investigation station, Frosty Fun Olympics, liquid nitrogen demonstrations and more! There will also be food and hot beverages available for purchase. Event will take place with or without snow! *Snowshoeing is weather permitting. Non-Members: $5. Little Tykes Snowshoe Stroll
Monday, February 13 from 10-11 AM for Ages 3-5
Snowshoes aren’t just for the young at heart, so bring your little one to try out snowshoeing in our bear-claw youth snowshoes. Caregivers are welcome to give them a try too! Nature Nuts: Brrr! It’s Cold Outside
Wednesday, February 15 from 4-5 PM for Ages 6-8
Join us after school to have fun exploring while learning about the wonders of the natural world at Tifft Nature Preserve! Since this program will be held mostly outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather. Non-Members: $6 per child and adult, $4 each additional child with same adult. Starry Snowshoe Stroll*
Friday, February 17 from 7-8:30PM for Families (Kids ages 5 and up)

WILD about Winter Discovery Camp
Tuesday, February 21-Thursday, February 23 from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM for Ages 5-8
What do you think animals do in winter? What do you like to do? Exploration of nature in winter is full of surprises and lots of fun too. Daily snack provided. Please bring lunch in a reusable container. Non-Members: $100 per child. Buffalo Museum of Science Members Save 10%.Late pick-up: 3:45 – 5:00 PM at $5 per half hour, per day. Family Snowshoe Hike*
