Beaded Bracelet Workshop

I thought this looked like a fun opportunity for the older kids. Just $6 for a 2 hour class which includes all materials for a custom bracelet!

Beading Class and Workshop on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 1-3pm at the Erie Canal Discovery Center, 24 Church St., Lockport

The Erie Canal Discovery Center is pleased to offer an educational program presented by Dorathy Gallo & Linda Van Buskirk of Beaded Finery. Participants will be taught basic beading techniques while gaining insight into more advanced design concepts. Students will also learn about the historic and artistic inspiration that contributes to the fine work that these local artisans produce. All the materials are provided to create a unique bracelet using beads selected by the students.

This program is open to the public for ages 12 and up. Space in this class is limited and reservations are strongly suggested. Call the Discovery Center at 439-0431 for more information.
