One of my favorite things to do during the holidays in Buffalo is visit the Botanical Gardens during the Holiday Festival.
Ok, I realize this may not be a lot of fun for kids (depending on their age). But I have taken Big B every year we've lived here and he has done great. During the Holiday Festival they have set up a working train display that runs through a small part of the garden area. Also, there are several little ponds with beautiful fish, small waterfalls and little bridges to walk across. As long as you don't plan on spending hours and hours I think this could be a fun activity for kids!
